This is a simple wave shader that uses a special form of shader displacement that is specialized for Eevee. Since it does not use deforming geometry, so you can create entire rivers or oceans dynamically in real-time.
This is meant to be used in the Eevee Render Engine. It could be used in Cycles if the transparency passes are increased, but keep in mind that it will be significantly slower.
*This will only work in Blender 3.2+*
