This is a geometry nodes setup that will deform a collection of objects based on a deforming mesh.
This demo takes a collection of fracture objects, and deforms them according to the body mesh's offset.
Dependencies:
- The deforming mesh needs a UV map and rest_position attribute for the effect to work.
- The 'Store Rest Position' node group stores the rest_position attribtue, which needs to be before any deformations.
- The collection of objects needs to be relatively close to the mesh surface for accurate deformation sampling.
- Blender 4.1 or later is required
