Cartesian Caramel's Everyday Geometry Node Assets (Blender 4.1 or later)


Here are some helpful node groups to make your Geometry Node projects a bit easier.

This assortment contains useful node group assets that I use often in my projects. These range from simple displacement to UV tangents and simulation-based velocity stepping.

Simply drag the .blend file into your asset library path so you can search for the nodes in any project.


The current list of nodes are:

  1. Circular Array - Duplicate geometry in a circular pattern.
  2. Curve to Mesh UV - Curve to Mesh, but with a UV output.
  3. Normal Displace - Simple normal displacement.
  4. Solid Extrude - Extrude with the original surface.
  5. Point Grid 3D - Generate a 3D grid of points.
  6. UV Tangent - Outputs face tangent, bitangent, and normal from a UV map.
  7. Velocity Step - Used in a simulation zone to move particles with velocity (delta time compatible).
  8. SDF Mesh - Output signed distance and normal fields from mesh faces, edges, or points.
  9. SDF Collision - Create a collision response using the distance and normal from SDF Mesh (velocity compatible).
  10. Relax Points - Move points on the same geometry away from each other.
  11. Seams from UV - Detect edge seams from a UV map.
  12. Ease Functions - Float falloffs like Sine, Cubic, Exponential, Circular, Back, Bounce, and Elastic
